The short version
We do not ask you to create an account, we do not run analytics or advertising software, and we do not sell personal information. The page you design in the app is encoded into a web address and written onto the NFC tag in your product — it is not uploaded to us, and we keep no copy of it.
Who we are
Jase Works LLC is a limited liability company registered in Florida, United States. It is the company behind Jase 3D Printing and the Landing Page Designer app, and is the party responsible for the information described here. You can reach us at support@jaseworks.com.
The Landing Page Designer app
Information the app collects about you: none
The app has no sign-in, no user profiles, and no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting services embedded in it. It does not request the advertising identifier and does not track you across apps or websites.
What you type into the app
When you design a page you may enter things like a welcome message, a Wi-Fi network name and password, your name, a city and state, a short bio, or links to social profiles. This content stays on your device while you are working on it.
When you finish, that content is encoded directly into a web address, and that address is what gets written to the NFC tag. There is no database behind it. We do not receive the content, and we cannot recover, edit or delete a page for you — the only copy is the one on your tag, which you can overwrite at any time by writing to it again.
Worth understanding before you write a tag: because the page lives in the address itself, anybody who taps that tag, or who is given that link, can see what you put on it. Please treat it as public information rather than private information.
The GIF picker
If you choose to add a reaction GIF, the search is served by KLIPY, a third-party GIF provider. Your search term is sent through our own server to KLIPY so that our API key is never placed in the app.
KLIPY's interface requires a per-installation identifier, so the app generates a random identifier the first time it is used and stores it on your device. It is not derived from you, your device or any account, it is not linked to anything else we hold, and deleting the app removes it. It is passed to KLIPY with GIF requests; we do not retain it. KLIPY's own handling of these requests is governed by their privacy policy.
Our websites
Our sites (jaseworks.com and tap.jase3dprinting.com) set no cookies and run no analytics or advertising trackers.
The sites are served through Amazon CloudFront. As with any website, our hosting provider necessarily processes the technical details of a request — such as the IP address it came from — in order to deliver the page. We have deliberately turned off the access logging that would record those requests to us, because a page address on this service can itself contain someone's personal details.
Orders and purchases
Our products are sold through Etsy. Etsy processes the order and takes the payment; we never see full payment card details. To fulfil and ship an order we receive the information Etsy passes to us, such as your name, shipping address and any note you attach to the order, and we use it only to fulfil that order, handle returns, and meet our tax and record-keeping obligations. Information you give to Etsy is also governed by Etsy's own privacy policy.
Email you send us
If you email support or report an abusive page, we keep that correspondence so we can answer you and, in the case of a report, act on it. We use it for that purpose and no other, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. Information reaches others only where it is inherent to providing the service: Etsy for orders, KLIPY for GIF search, and our hosting and email providers acting on our behalf. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to investigate abuse of our service.
Retention
Page designs are never held by us at all. Order records are kept for as long as tax and business record-keeping requires. Support email is kept while it is useful for supporting you and then deleted.
Children
Our products and app are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to our use of it. Email support@jaseworks.com and we will respond. In practice we hold very little: for most people who have only used the app, the honest answer is that we hold nothing at all.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Where a change is significant, we will make that clear rather than relying on you to notice the date.
